It gives a nice dip into the realm of maneuvers for someone who doesn't already have them.

To reduce the level of picking and choosing, though, all maneuvers should really come from the same discipline.

Also, why can't this feat be taken multiple times?

This feat is what Martial Study should have been. I've always considered trading a feat for a single maneuver to be a waste of time, given how few feats a character ever gets. In addition, I love that this feat allows a character to qualify for Martial Stance feats much earlier. I hate having to wait til 12th level to get a 3rd level stance for a feat.

While this feat rubs me the wrong way, I could see its uses in some games.
