The Djinn show up here again with a slower fly speed but still all the wrong aspects. Repeat the Djinn's rating here.

Minimum Level?

What is up with this "Minimum Level: 5" stuff? D&D does not even use such terms. Please re-write this in terms of either Level Adjustment, or Effective Character Level. :( Also, if they have +2 STR, +2 DEX, +2 WIS, then why do they not also have 1 or 2 NEGATIVE stat adjustments as well? Something is amiss, here. --ProphetPX 01:25, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

The formatting is odd. I'm assuming this is a Book of Elements thing. -- Eiji-kun 01:27, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
It is a book of elements thing, and near as I can tell it's a race that you can not play unless you also have 5 character levels. Which isn't represented by LA or ECL. The minimum level is supposed to justify it being a stronger race than normal, but it's not an argument I really get. - Tarkisflux Talk 02:22, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

ProphetPX: I appreciate that you're trying to help, but if you're gonna comment on Tome material, read the Tomes first. They have good reasons for most of those choices. Otherwise, it just sounds like you're putting your feet in your mouth. As in both of them. - MisterSinister 02:39, 4 May 2012 (UTC)

This is IGTN's thing, and it's a bit different from the monster races listed in RoW. The difference here is that they don't get racial hit dice and abilities like the RoW suggestions, they could get regular class levels instead. So you could totally play a level 5 Jann Cleric alongside a level 5 Human Cleric, but you couldn't play a level 4 Jann Cleric alongside a level 4 Human Cleric because level 4 Jann characters don't exist. So in exchange for not being able to select this at level 1, you get a bunch of extra racial bonuses. And I don't get the argument for that at all. - Tarkisflux Talk 03:54, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
