seriously? 10d6 bonus damage at level 10, plus all the rest? balanced against rogue? Rogue doesn't get that until 19, its conditions for it seem to be harder to fulfill, it's a lot less durable... —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at

The bonus damage isn't even the point of that ability. The point is to tank. Furthermore, there is the following note, which you may have missed:
This effect ends at the end of her next turn, or when she has struck her opponent a number of times equal to the number of attacks normally allotted her by her Base Attack Bonus.
This means the knight's damage is capped at 40d6, and he is dependent on the actions of his opponent to get that damage. A rogue at a similar point will do 70 or 80d6 (see the Halfling Hurler for more on that) + 112-160 with Craven, and he should be able to deal this damage more or less every round without inordinate difficulty. The knight also has other uses for swift actions later, so he won't be getting his bonus damage all that often. All the other stuff merely exists to ensure the knight's survival if he ends up being the sole target of every opponent on the field. -- Jota 17:44, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
