|reason=This weapon is... notably unbalanced. We just saw it in use last night and, well, it is way too much for a martial weapon and just honestly has things that shouldn't be in the game. I could see this being able to be set against a charge and a trip weapon and _maybe_ the option of switching between reach and non-reach at the start of your turn for the round, but oh baby baby. The hardness/damage reduction thing is nuts. Dealing damage to armor isn't a thing in D&D, it just kills fighters and kills your wealth its just mean and ruins adventures. The game isn't designed with it in mind. Getting reach and adjacency with a –2 probably okay for an exotic weapon, but not on a martial. This thing needs a drastic overhaul and I cannot recommend its use.

We didn't have a Lucerne before? Huh, so we didn't. Well then, goodies.

Shouldn't it be Bludgeoning OR Piercing?

This is the striking face of a good ol' swiss Lucerne hammer. It crushes as well as fillets the enemy. So I reckoned it should bypass both damage reduction/bludgeoning and damage reduction/piercing. --Sulacu (talk) 11:51, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
