Actually useful amounts of combat healing, with a tasty psionic twist.

A nice non-invasive way to handle psionic healing without taking away from actual healers. I like it status effect suppressing quality, add a lot to utility to it.

Psionics is severely lacking in healing capability. This has some interesting flavor. But with only +1 bonus to HP and the temporary effects of the power, it is not great. It is OK in combat, but nearly useless outside of it.

Bandaids are functional, but are no substitute for long term care.[edit]

Just as a commentary for FK's rating: Well yes, that's the point. It's a temporary fix, you need a proper source of healing for anything remaining. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 18:09, 16 April 2019 (MDT)

In principle you are correct, and the flavor of this is good. However, in practice a bandaid lasts for more than a minute as does most of placebo effects. Certainly not permanent, would suggest 5 minutes per level or one hour flat.--Franken Kesey 18:27, 16 April 2019 (MDT)
No need. It's only a quick fix, something to stave off death (effects that grant temporary hp can be used for the same, as well as rage). With those durations you could conceivably end a whole dungeon, or do several encounters, and that's not the point. This only should last to the end of a combat. For that, 1 minute is sufficient, and it makes any sort of constant upkeep costly. Remember to that one of its augmented functions suppresses status effects too. Exhaustion is dangerous mid combat, but mostly irrelevant outside of combat. You can afford to suffer with it after combat. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 18:35, 16 April 2019 (MDT)
The status effects are a nice touch. Their existence rely makes me want to rate it higher. But the 1 minute issue still stands. It is too short. In game terms 1 minute is 10 rounds, sure. But in the real world 1 minute is very short. Few real fights or battles only last 1 minute. Find a good compromise, otherwise the rating stands.--Franken Kesey 07:06, 17 April 2019 (MDT)
