Oh, gotcha, sorry about that. Also on the the whole oberoni fallacy thing, you didnt clarity what exactly that was. I assume your referring to the zenkai bonus.

The fallacy.
In short, saying, "The DM can do this to make this feature not imbalanced," doesn't balance anything.

Also... have you ever played 5e before? The grapple DC on the tail is astronomically high, even without the +10. Even anything less than total cover gives only +5 to AC. --Ghostwheel (talk) 12:16, 16 November 2019 (MST)
In reference to the grapple, i've played a lot of 5e, but havent dealt with grappling almost at all, so i'll look into that and change it, thanks for the point out.
To the Zenkai, its less of saying it's broken, but has the potential of being abused. Its just saying, "dont be dumb" and award it when appropriate. If you think its broken, how so? and how would you address it? --Iskerbabble (talk)
Nah, it's pretty broken. It's giving free ASIs, of which characters tend to have few and far between, for free. That's a pretty big bump in power, and if you even get one, it's equivalent to a Very Rare item that can be acquired at first level on this character, potentially multiple times.
It's pretty easy to drop in 5e, but pretty hard to die. Due to this, it's not super uncommon for players (especially frontliners) do drop with 2 death saves. So yeah, it's pretty broken. If you want to make it less broken, make the bonus temporary, until you finish a short or long rest.
