Inspiration

What's the idea/inspiration behind this item? --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 10:01, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

I was making a snake-themed "cultist" of sorts and she needed some equipment that was appropriately thematic while also being loot-able in the event that the PCs killed her. Apparently snake-themed equipment isn't particularly common since after a search I found other people had the same problem, but I did find some suggestions on theming based on snakes and their meanings in historical cultures. While that didn't really help with this item, I just kinda thought about generic snake powers and this was the result. Out of curiosity, why do you ask?
