What if a character has both types of spellcasting?

It should in theory only function with one spellcasting progression, even if you had double spontaneous. I am going to try to relay this in the text soon. --Leziad (talk) 20:55, 30 April 2018 (MDT)
Benefit 6 is absurdly good. You really should limit that to no more that 3/day, if not 1/day. I could make a whole effective class against having the whole list at my command like that. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 06:17, 11 May 2018 (MDT)

Suggestion for fixed list casters[edit]

3: You gain an additional spell known and spell per day from any spell level you can cast. Additionally applying metamagic spontaneously no longer increase the casting time of your spells. If you're a fixed list caster (e.g. Beguiler, Warmage, Dread Necromancer), you get an additional spell known per spell level that follows the same restrictions as your Advanced Learning options.

6: Twice per day, you may cast a spell from your spell list without it being known to you; you still expend all resources necessary for the casting of this spell. A fixed list caster may also treat the list of spells that could be taken with their advanced learning class feature as part of their spell list for this purpose.
