What's up with this spell? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 09:01, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

As with much of my gaming stuff, this is taken from fiction. In two of Steven Brust's Dragaera novels (Issola and Brokedown Palace), one of the characters does this regularly.

Also, thank you for bringing this spell back to my attention. I have now caught (and fixed) some errors.--Ideasmith (talk) 03:17, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Schools[edit]

This is a pretty minor noitpick, but I think a dual school spell with a different subschool would work better here. The "each recipient sees the caster talking to them" part seems more like a phantasm (in their own mind) than a glamer (altering properties of existing object). And the message part is reminiscent of whispering wind, a Trans spell. The template supports dual school spells if you're interested, just need to add a "|school2=Whatever" parameter in there. - Tarkisflux Talk 03:56, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

I’m not sure how many DMs use dual-school, but it’s not supported by the core rules and I’m not assuming that it’s in use. And providing messages in the casters voice is totally an Illusion thing (Dream, Magic Mouth, Ventriloquism, Ghost Sound). Though now that I think about it, Phantasm does seem a better fit than Glamer. Ideasmith (talk) 18:56, 2 December 2018 (MST)
