Balance

Check it again, and if not acceptable, please state why, in depth. - Iskerbabble (talk) 11/27/19

Ki Sense - there is no such thing as blindsense in 5e. --Ghostwheel (talk) 08:06, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
The rogue has it as a class ability. Page 97 of the PHB - Iskerbabble (talk) 11/28/19
Yes, but there is no sense in 5e called "blindsense". --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:25, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Never realized that, that is strange. But ill change the description then - Iskerbabble (talk) 11/28/19
And now it's unclear; what do you mean sense? Do you recognize presence, location, what they look like, etc? Need to be more specific. --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:30, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Good point, that any better? - Iskerbabble (talk) 11/28/19
And now you're giving a level 14 ability to level 6 characters, which isn't balanced. It might not detect a few, select number of creatures, but it's still way more powerful than what you'd expect at that level. --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:37, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Maybe switching Blazing Combat to 6th and Ki sense to 11th? - Iskerbabble (talk) 11/28/19
Feels like too short a time between getting Afterimage and getting it upgraded. --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:42, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Yea, but Ki sense does need to be moved to 11th definetely, would both on 11 be to much of a power increase?- Iskerbabble (talk) 11/28/19
Probably. --Ghostwheel (talk) 14:51, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
I think on this more, I got to be afk for awhile -Iskerbabble (talk) 11/28/19
Ok how bout this, Afterimage strike and Ki sense at 11th, and Extreme Speed and 1 other small ability at 6th -Iskerbabble (talk) 10:16(CST) 11/28/19

Coming back to this, still pretty kaput.
Trading Blows now only reduces damage, but also allows a monk to now make 5 attacks per round without too much trouble.
This goes up to 6 attacks at level 11.
Plus, compare this subclass to other subclasses of the monk. This one gets so many abilities that it will quickly lead to option paralysis on the part of players. Even the Four Elements monk doesn't have as many options in a single round's worth of time.
Trim it down, cut some stuff, streamline it, and give it less attacks per round. --Ghostwheel (talk) 13:18, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
