Some misguided mage animated the skeleton of a {{srd5lc|Troll}} to become an undead {{srd5lc|Skeleton}}. The undead troll immediately began regenerating and broke the control of its creator. Eventually it will regenerate enough to become a [[Troll Zombie (5e Monster)|troll zombie]] and then a living troll.

Due to its regeneration, a troll skeleton will often have some tissue regrown on the skeleton.
