Unruly Familiar

Your familiar isn't particularly obedient.

Prerequisite: A Familiar OR See Special

Effect: Your familiar is more unruly than normal. It becomes an NPC under the DM's control which can never become Hostile or Helpful. It also doesn't count as a part of you and vice versa for the sake of spells and effects such as confusion.

Benefit: Any Moderate bonus feat for which you meet the prerequisites or Obtain Familiar (see below).

Special: This Flaw may be taken if you did not have a familiar, but the only feat you can take with it is Obtain Familiar. You may ignore the normal prerequisites for Obtain Familiar under these conditions. Additionally, your familiar can always understand - but not speak - one language you know.
