Voltran Shroud

Your body becomes dark yellow, covered in miniature clouds. Your face in particular has a black mask covering it, the mark of a master killer and infiltrator.

With this soulmeld, totemists take on the qualities of Voltran, the thundercloud assassin. It's popular among totemists who want their enemies dead really, really quickly, as well as those who anticipate electrical hazards. The Voltran shroud is very flexible offensively, and carries a few stealthy tricks as well.

You gain a +3 dodge bonus to AC and electricity resistance 5 for having this soulmeld shaped.

Essentia: You gain electricity anti-resistance equal to twice the amount of essentia you have invested in this soulmeld. (For example, if you have 2 points of essentia invested into your Voltran shroud, you have electricity anti-resistance 4.)  

Chakra Bind (Crown)

The black mask over your face becomes solid in form. It is a mask of darkness. The mask establishes you as an inescapable killer, assuring your enemies that they will never be safe from your wrath.

You gain the benefits of the Flow with Enemy feat. In addition, you gain a fly speed of 30 feet plus 10 feet per point of invested essentia with average maneuverability, gain sneak attack +1d6 per point of invested essentia, gain a +8 competence bonus to Hide checks, and may hide in plain sight at will, seemingly dissolving into the air only to reappear and strike your enemy dead. Any enemy who you successfully hide from is considered flat-footed against your attacks. (Note that the sneak attack dice gained from this soulmeld cannot be used to qualify for feats or prestige classes, as you only have them while this soulmeld is shaped and bound to your crown chakra. They can, however, be used for any ability that lets you "swap out" sneak attack dice for bonus effects during a sneak attack.) 

Chakra Bind (Heart)

The soulmeld's essence of electricity reaches deep into your body, fortifying you against electricity-based assaults.

Your electricity resistance increases by 4 points per invested essentia point. 

Chakra Bind (Hands)

Your hands become dark yellow, and the air around them crackles with lightning.

Your electricity anti-resistance improves to 4 per invested essentia point. This overrides the soulmeld's standard essentia investment benefit. 

Chakra Bind (Feet)

Your feet become cloudlike and lightweight.

You may hover with poor maneuverability at will (hover speed equals land speed or natural hover/fly speed, whichever is higher, and you may also use your own maneuverability grade if it is better than poor), and all of your movement speeds increase by 10 feet per point of invested essentia. You also have a +8 competence bonus to Move Silently checks. 

Chakra Bind (Soul)

You become like a cloud – objects simply pass right through you.

You become incorporeal and gain a fly speed of 30 feet per point of invested essentia, with perfect maneuverability. You also gain a +6 enhancement bonus to Charisma (this does not scale with invested essentia). Any creature you pass through takes 1d8 electricity damage per point of invested essentia; you may only affect a given creature in this fashion once per round. Alternately, you may unshape this soulmeld to cast Dark Storm. When you use Dark Storm, all enemies within Medium range take 4d12 negative energy damage per point of essentia invested into this soulmeld, with a Reflex save allowed for half (the save DC is calculated as normal for soulmelds). 

Chakra Bind (Totem)

Your body becomes a dull yellow and made of electricity, with small plumes of cloudstuff scattered around your body. Your face is covered with a black mask, shadowy and surreal, promising swift death to your foes.

You gain a +4 enhancement bonus to your Charisma and Dexterity scores (these do not scale with invested essentia). You gain an aura of intense electricity, similar to that granted by the Elemental Aura feat, which does 1d6 electricity damage per point of invested essentia to all within 10 feet of you.

You may also use Voltran's signature Lightning Surge attack: You gain the Flow with Enemy feat for free, as well as a fly speed of 30 feet per point of invested essentia with good maneuverability. While flowing with an enemy, you deal 2d12 electricity damage per point of invested essentia to that opponent per round.

Note: Voltran shroud is not intended to require Grim-n'-Gritty rules; the flow with enemy mechanic is simply the closest approximation to how Lightning Surge is supposed to work. Replace all mentions of "defense" with Armor Class if using default rules.
