As long as his stance is active, the martial adept may walk on any liquid surface as if it was solid (resume or suppress as a free action), gain the ability to breath underwater and gain a swim speed equal to it base land speed. Additionally the martial adept make ranged attacks underwater as if he was making a normal ranged attack.
