Adventuring Archaeologist [General] Delving into ruins, facing danger, possibly fighting undead and fell beasts, all to go home with sacks of valuable ephemera and maybe a powerful artifact? No, you're not some low class adventurer or murder hobo, you're an Archaeologist! Who goes on adventures and possibly kills things while maybe having no fixed residence. But it's definitely different!Benefit: You gain automatic max ranks in Appraise, Decipher Script, Gather Info, and a number of ranks of Speak Language equal to your character level plus three, vital skills for finding ruins and learning from them. You also gain a +2 competence bonus on Disable Device, Kn.Architecture, Kn.Dungeon, Kn.History, and Use Magic Device.

If you can provide provenance and context when selling treasure of the Art Object type to an institution, you can sell it for Character Level*10% more than its appraised value. Provenance and context generally includes information about where it was found in the site, how it was found, and its immediate situation, preferably with images in situ.
