A single cache of these unusual arrows were recovered, sealed inside an ornate crystalline box, at the petrified ruins of an ancient fey city in a desolate wasteland deep within the region of Santan Palo. The area had once been a thriving grove of lesser world trees until a terrible cataclysm. The expedition recovered them, and their number changed hands and they were split up over the following years into smaller batches. While the secrets that went into creating them were lost, the arrows still forge a legacy of their own, and some have even become more potent.

These durable arrows have shafts of lesser worldwood, arrowheads of lesser worldtree amber, and fletching made from the flight-feathers of a roc. They are ever-so-much lighter than a standard arrow.

When fired, these arrows have a +2 enhancement bonus to attack and damage and gain the benefits of Far Shot. If the archer already has this feat, the arrows increase their range increment by another half. These arrows may even find their marks through fierce winds, negating up to –4 in penalties and misses up to 50% (treating effects like a wind wall that always cause a miss as having 100% miss chance) from wind and air effects.

When fired, unlike normal ammunition, they retain their magic and can be used again (so long as they can be recovered and aren't purposely broken). If broken, an individual arrow can be magically mended and re-enchanted, costing 1/10th its magical value. Because of their reusable nature, a cache of 10 amberpoint arrows is valued at the cost of a full weapon rather than ammunition. Each arrow has a material value of 100 gp.

The amberpoint arrows are unique items that cannot be replicated, but they are not artifacts. They may be further enhanced (or destroyed), counting as a +4 magical weapons (+2 enhancement and a further +2 from special enhancement costs). A fey crafter gains a 10% discount on enhancing these arrows.
