Another successful launch for Luna-Tesla, the new Wizard-X Space Program is working!

With the power of ballistic knowledge, the spellcaster seals the target within protective wards and ignites a great energy under their feet which rockets them far away. Treat this as teleport with the changes above. It is not actual teleportation but requires open skies above or the spell fails. The caster must make either a DC 15 Knowledge Geography or Knowledge Math & Physics check to determine accuracy to the target. The DC increases the less you know about your location.

If you fail to reach the DC, you are off target. You appear safely a random distance away from the destination in a random direction. Distance off target is 1d10x1d10% of the distance that was to be traveled. The direction off target is determined randomly.

If you fail the DC by 5 or more, you land in a similar area. You wind up in an area that’s visually or thematically similar to the target area. Generally, you appear in the closest similar place within range. If no such area exists within the spell’s range, the spell simply fails instead.

After 3 rounds of focus you rocket into low orbit, protected from the environmental hazards by a bubble of air out to your reach. Travel to your new location is not instant, but you travel 30 miles per round. When you reach your intended destination you descend and reach the ground within 3 rounds, slowing down rapidly during the last 60 ft. You can choose to lengthen the flight and remain in orbit for up to 24 hours, after which you land in a random location.

This spell is very bright, flashy, and loud. Not great for stealth.

Material Component: Aluminum powder and ammonium perchlorate powder.
