Astral Escape Vest[edit]

She was stranded in the abyss. The boat was sinking. And she was surrounded by murderers, cultists, and politicians. And she left the oven on. It's a good thing she brought her escape vest! And with that she returned to her home planet.

This vest has several deflated bags along its surface. A user can attune it to a particular area by spending 1 week within 10 miles of a place of their choosing. After it is attuned the user can activate the astral escape vest over the course of 3 rounds of concentration. On the first round the pouches inflate and the user levitates 5 ft into the air as per levitate. On the second round the user rises 20 ft in the air. And on the third round they vanish, slipping into the astral plane. They will proceed to drift to their attuned area arriving in 1d4 rounds if on the same plane, or 1d4 hours if on another plane.

The astral escape vest can then be reset and needs to be re-attuned before it can be used again. You can cancel your teleportation by ceasing concentration before you slip into the astral plane.

Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, levitate, plane shift.
Cost to Create: 4000 gp, 320 EXP, 8 days.
