Awakened Seal

This powerful spell seals away the power of those afflicted by it. Intended to be used against immortals foes, or as a punishment for those who abused their powers but did not deserve death.

Upon completing this spell, the caster draws a seal in the air toward the target. If the target fails its save, the seal appears on its forehead and it loses all means to access its abilities. A sealed creature loses all spells known, spells prepared, and activated feats, as well as its supernatural, spell-like abilities and its activated extraordinary abilities (including similar abilities such as maneuvers and powers).

The seal remains on the target forehead (or closest) equivalent, and is difficult to remove. Beside the caster dismissing the spell, the seal cannot be dispelled normally. A dispel attempt may be made by casting the wish spell. A break enchantment or remove curse spell with a caster level higher than the seal's own caster level also allows a dispel check, but with a –10 penalty. If an attempt to dispel the seal is made, and fails, the seal cannot be dispelled by the same creature for 24 hours. The seal cannot be removed by any means besides the caster dismissing the spell or a successful dispel check.

The caster may cast this spell over the course of a minute, drawing the seal on the forehead of a willing or helpless creature. If cast this way, this spell does not offer any saving throws and ignores spell resistance. An awakened seal remain in effect in an antimagic field.

If the target is slain, the seal remains on its body. If the target is resurrected in the same body the spell will continue, but if they somehow incarnate into another body they are able to free themselves from it.
