This is meant as a homebrew replacement for the baleful polymorph spell.
|Level:||Druid 5, Patron Witch 5, Sorcerer/Wizard 5|
|Casting time:||1 Standard Action|
|Range:||Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)|
|Saving Throw:||Fortitude Negate, Will Partial (See text)|
It was but with a twitch of the finger, that the witch turned the knight into a badger.
Upon completing this spell, caster fire a small purple ray from her finger, the creature struck by the ray must succeed a Fortitude save or transform into a small or smaller animal (or vermin) of no more than 1 HD (such as a dog, lizard, monkey, or toad) or into a tiny animated object, the form taken is chosen when the spell is cast.
The subject takes on all the statistics and special abilities of an average member of the new form in place of its own, it however retain it own mind (alignment, mental ability scores, languages and such) but otherwise lose all of it abilities. All of the target's equipment falls at it feet as it transform. If the target is slain or broken (in the case of an object) it does not revert to it original form. After 24 consecutive hours in this form, the target must make a Will save or become a regular animal or object, the curse may still be removed allowing them to return to their former self.
Incorporeal or gaseous creatures are immune to baleful polymorph, and a creature with the shapechanger subtype (such as a lycanthrope or a doppelganger) can revert to its natural form as a standard action (which ends the spell’s effect).
