Barrier up!
This +1 ghost touch buckler holds a powerful energy shield within. As a swift action you deploy a massive wall of specialized force as large as your square +5 ft (so a medium creature generates a 15 ft wide 10 ft tall shields since the remaining 5 ft crosses through the ground). This barrier stops any and all physical projectiles coming from your front, even siege weapons, while energy projectiles such as many ranged attack spells are unaffected. Breath weapons and gas effects are parted as if it were a physical wall. The force wall is not actually solid and melee attacks pass through, as well as allowing creatures to walk through it as well as ranged attacks through the back of your shield.
The force wall slows down the user when deployed, cutting their speed to that of heavy armor (or to half your base movement speed if your speed is already cut). Projectiles deal damage to the force shield. The force shield has 20 hp/HD of the user, and if the shield breaks it is disabled for 1d4 rounds. The shield regenerates 2 hp/HD in any round it has not been damaged.
Disintegrate breaks the force shield instantly, but does not pass through the wall. The force shield breaks line of effect, but not line of sight. While the shield is deployed, the user gains a +8 shield bonus against ranged attacks.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, wall of force.
Cost to Create: 6,305 gp, 480 EXP, 12 days.
