That axe will surely cleave you in half, but just as they swung a fly zipped by the enemy's eye, and they miss!
You alter fate around your target to achieve the most beneficial future by random chance. Any time during the duration, the one affected by this spell may use an immediate action to adjust any d20 roll up or down 1d4 points. The roll must be an action initiated by them, or otherwise affecting them. So they may use it to improve an attack roll, or a saving throw against fireball, or decrease the saving throw of an enemy they attack. However, they could not use it to boost the saving throw or skill checks of an ally.
Only one instance of this spell may be in effect at any one time, and it counts as moment of prescience for the purpose of not stacking with the similar dice-altering effect.
