Binding Spell

A powerful spell was used to bind you in the past, making you more vulnerable to further binding. The spell was potent enough to still be able to hold you in place if it is invoked.

Effect: You have a persisting link with an ancient spell which was used to seal or bind you, firstly you always have a lingering aura of abjuration while viewing under the effect of detect magic. Additionally the binding link to the spell makes you slightly more vulnerable to attempt to ward you, seal you away or banish you, taking a -2 penalty on Fortitude and Will saving throws against abjuration spells.

Finally it is possible to invoke the binding spell itself, although the vestige of its power is only powerful enough to bind you in place for a moment. While anyone can invoke the spells, the knowledge of very specific words is required to do so. A creature may research you with an appropriated Knowledge check DC 15 + your hit dice to learn those words. The words may be spoken as a swift action, causing you to become Immobilized for 1 round as visual appropriated vestige of the spells forces you into place. After the spell has been used on you you cannot be affected by it again for 24 hours.

Benefit: A Moderate bonus feat or lower for which you meet the prerequisites.
