Bond of the Tarantula Wasp [Symbiotic]
Prerequisites: Aspect of the Vermin class feature, Aspect of the Tarantula Wasp.Benefit: [Symbiotic] feats increase the effectiveness of your [Hivemaster] feats. For your aspect of the tarantula wasp feat, you are considered to have one more level in hivemaster. The individual benefits of that feat are also altered, as follows.
3: Wasp stings are very painful, and can fill the mind, shutting down all instincts except, perhaps, the one to scream. Whenever you hit a creature with the stinger attack you gained from the original aspect of the tarantula wasp feat, the target must make a fortitude save (DC 10 + ½ your hivemaster level + your con mod) or be denied their dexterity to their armor class till your next turn.
7: While some wasps are solitary and do not build nests, instead laying eggs in places where they will be safe, there are those that develop large nests in order to lay eggs and have them grow. You have taken on both of these wasp traits, and, now, in addition to the ability to lay an egg in a foe you gain from the original aspect of the tarantula wasp feat, you gain the ability to build a large paper-pulp nest, and lay several eggs in it. These eggs, if tended to properly, hatch into giant wasps a week later, each one with HD equal to ½ your hivemaster level. You can lay up to ⅓ your hivemaster level eggs. These wasps are completely under your mental control. You can control up to ⅓ your hivemaster level giant wasps at a time.
11: An angry wasp is not good, no matter the situation, as they can come out of nowhere, and sting lightning fast, causing, at the very least, immense pain. You have taken this speed for yourself, granting you a 30 foot increase to your base land speed, as well as augmenting the critical of the stinger attack the original aspect of the tarantula wasp feat gave you to be x3, instead of just x2.
15: Now, when you build a nest and lay eggs in it, the eggs can hatch into either spider eaters or giant wasps, at your choice. The creature that hatches still has HD equal to ½ your hivemaster level. You can now control spider eaters instead of giant wasps, but can still only control up to ⅓ your hivemaster level creatures at any one time.
Special: A character can only have a number of [Symbiotic] feats equal to the number of times that they have gained the Aspect of the Vermin class feature.
