Breaching[edit]

Breaching weapons break down shields and barriers with ease, as well as cutting through unnatural vigor. Damage from a breaching weapon deals twice the amount when facing temporary hp (but deals normal damage once the temporary hp is expended) and other hp pools such as from protection from energy. When attacking any kind of non-instantaneous "barrier" or "wall" with hp, it also deals this doubled damage amount. Against normally invulnerable force effect barriers such as wall of force, treat them as having hardness 20 and 10 hp/caster level for the purpose of damaging and destroying them.

Upon depleting a source of temporary hp or destroying a barrier or wall, you can choose to make it explode in a blast of energy. Deal your base weapon damage (including enhancement but no other source of damage) to everything within a 10 ft radius, no save, to a maximum of the temp hp remaining when it was depleted. You are immune to the explosion, and can choose not to trigger it.
