This pokemon is a bulky, rock-headed creature that enjoys smashing its skull against things. Nobody is sure if it wants to break things, or is just having fun ramming stuff, but it seems not to be hurt by this.

Damage Reduction (Ex): Cranidos has Damage Reduction equal to half its hit dice.

Takedown (Ex): Once per round, when making an attack, Cranidos may add 2d6 damage to a successful hit, but takes 1d8 recoil damage (ignoring DR). This is a [Rock] effect.

Rivalry (Ex): Cranidos have an intense rivalry with theropod dinosaurs, such as Megaraptors, Tyrannosaurus, and similar-looking prehistoric reptiles. They gain a +2 to hit and damage them in combat, as well as doubling their critical threat ranges, however if such a creature is in sight it must make a Will save (DC 15 + half the dinosaur's HD) or focus on attacking it, ignoring any commands. It can save again every 3 rounds, or when the opponent dies/flees.

Rock Pokemon Traits: Fighting, Steel, Ground, Water and Grass attacks are Super Effective, gaining a +4 Circumstance Bonus to the attack roll or Save DC and increasing the damage by the attacker's hit dice. Fire, Poison, Flying and Normal attacks are Not Very Effective, taking a -4 Circumstance Penalty to the attack roll or Save DC, and reducing the damage by Cranidos' hit dice (4). Cranidos has 30' Tremorsense and is immune to Critical Hits from all things that are not Super Effective. Its Slam attack is a [Rock] effect.
