Crown of the Undying Kingdom[edit]

The crowns of the Undying Kingdom belonged to the Five Wraith Kings who ruled an ancient realm of unrivaled power. However, as they saw their death approaching, they sold everything for immortality. The crowns of the Undying Kingdom belonged to the Five Wraith Kings who ruled an ancient realm of unrivaled power. However, as they saw their death approaching, they sold everything for immortality. So, they sacrificed their entire kingdom for eternal life and rulership over a dark realm of ghouls and ghosts. The crowns they wore were corrupted by their act and while not the focus of their immense power, each crown gained a very high amount of dark energy.

Any creature that don one of the four lesser crowns become permanently bounded to it, the crown attach itself to it wearer like a symbiotic creature. While the crown is worn, it wearer is under the effect of a permanent veil of undeathSpC spell that cannot be dispelled or supressed. The wearer also gain the ability to cast animate dead and create undead as spell-like ability at will. When the crown first bond, it wearer permanently gain the access divine power feat with the deathbound domain, this feat persist even after the crown is removed.

The crown is extremely hard to remove, requiring a wish or miracle to separate it from the head of it wearer. The true power of the crown is seen however when the wearer dies while wearing it. The creature immediately rise as ghost with malevolence and two other manifestation powers. The crown is still on the ghost's head and temporarily merge with any creature the wearer possessed with malevolence. After 24 hours within a creature's body the crown rebuilds the wearer's original body and consume the soul of the possessed creature.

The last crown was worn by the High King of the Great Realm, his own crown was heavily corrupted, making it more powerful than the lesser four. The High Crown function as one of the lesser with the following additional abilities: It a major artifact, it allow it wearer to cast shades as a spell-like ability at will and grant the wearer the lesser paragon template. The High King Crown is even harder to remove, requiring a wish or miracle and have the wearer be beheaded by a holy vorpal weapon within a day (if the wearer is slain that way he does not rise as a ghost).
