A throne composed of various bones fused and warped, and linked by blackened flesh. Green lightning crackles between the bones.
When sitting in this chair, you benefit from a constant deathwatch. You may also cast animate dead at will as a spell-like ability, provided you have the material components. The caster level is as your HD. You can also rebuke undead as if you were an evil cleric 3/day, once more using your HD as your effective cleric level. If you have rebuking, increase your effective level by +4. Any undead you have under your control can be commanded at any distance while you sit upon the throne.
After 8 hours of sitting on the throne (the time need not be continuous), the necromantic energies of the chair take its toll. The user's Constitution score is reduced by 2, and in exchange they gain 25% Fortification, no longer take damage from thirst or starvation (but still get hungry), and gain a +2 bonus on saves vs death effects, disease, paralysis, poison, and sleep. If they spend another 8 hours, the fortification goes up by +25% again, their saves rise by another +2, and their Constitution goes down by 2. This continues until they would hit 100% Fortification, in which case they would gain the Necropoliton templateLM for free instead of the bonuses and penalties provided.
The conversion into an undead can be removed before the transformation into a Necropoliton by entering a Concecrated area and ritualistically dousing oneself with 10 vials of holy water over the course of 1 hour. Doing so resets your effective time on the throne back to 0 and removes the benefits and penalties of the throne, including restoring the lost Constitution.
If you are already undead, you are immune to turning and rebuking so long as you remain sitting on the throne.
