"You see, if held together in a shadow reality field the devitrons, particles from the deep warp, are able to freely bounce off each other and become hyper-excited, which is bad news for you as they allow nearby thinking beings to warp reality. In effect the stream will make you tear yourself apart with your own mind, any amount of control is impossible as each of your thoughts is amplified a thousand times over. The field is only so large and thus anything outside of it is safe from your total and utter existential failure."

This spell creates a stream of short-lived devitrons out of the caster's outstretched hand, a particle from the deepest part of the far plane held stable by an illusory shadow field and further hyper accelerated. The devitrons penetrate non-mindless creature's minds and cause reality to break down around them, essentially making the victims' reality warp themselves apart. The field is particularly unstable and if disrupted it fails to maintain existential cohesion and collapse. While concentrating, the caster is unable to move without disrupting the stream and ending the effect early. If the caster is unwilling moved the spell end

If a creature is caught inside the beam, it suffers a catastrophic physical and mental breakdown. On the first round of exposure, any creatures within the area must make a Will save or become unable to take any actions for as long as they stay in the beam from the intense pain and mental torment. A successful save leave the victim nauseated for 1 round instead. After 1 round of exposure, each exposed creature must make a Fortitude save at the start of each of its turns or be torn apart by the stream of devitrons. The creature takes 1d6 damage per caster level on a successful save. If the creature fails to save or is brought to 0 hit points or lower by the damage it keeps living for as long as it remains in the steam. As soon as the creature leaves it immediately dies, leaving a deformed carbonized body behind. The remains left behind do not count as the creature's body and are not fit for any kind of regeneration or resurrection and all of its equipment (except artifacts) are destroyed.

A 'limited 'wish spell or stronger effect made when the target is still in stream stabilize their body and allow it to be rescued at 1 hit point. If a creature is immune to [Shadow] effect, [mind-affecting] effect, body altering effect or has the [Lawful] subtype it counts as having succeeded on the Fortitude but is not otherwise immune to the effect. This spell ignores the effect of mettle and any improvement of such class features.

While it is most effective on targets with a mind, this spell is still effective against mindless creatures and objects. If a mindless creature is caught in the beam, it takes 10d6 damage at the start of each of its turns, being destroyed and twisted apart once it reaches 0 hit points. If an unattended object is caught in the beam it is dealt 10d6 damage and loses 1 point of hardness at the start of each of the caster's turn, if it reaches 0 hit points or hardness it is twisted apart and destroyed.

Finally if the stream touch any standing magical effect, such as a wall of force or prismatic wall, the caster make a dispel attempt (as per greater dispel magic) with an additional +10 bonus at the start of each of her turns. If she succeeds the effect is twisted apart and destroyed. If the stream cross an antimagic field they may attempt to dispel it, if it fails to do so the spell ends early.

As a result of casting this spell, the caster's hand becomes horribly deformed, twisted and gangrenous from close exposure to the stream. The caster's hand becomes unusable and requires amputation, although it may be regenerated with spells or abilities normally after.
