Blast Shape Warlock Lesser; 4th |
You cast your hand forth, violet energy surging from your outstretched palm as it always does when you invoke your Eldritch Blast. However, rather than flying to strike a foe, it instead bends back towards you, coiling about you like a snake, spiraling faster and faster as your form blurs. Suddenly it bursts outwards, and you are standing elsewhere, scorched - And surprised - Enemies surrounding you as the smoke clears.
This Blast Shape invocation lets you turn your Eldritch Blast's energy into a means of escape. When you use your blast with this shape, you may teleport as a move action up to 5 feet per dice of damage your Eldritch Blast normally deals. When you do so, you also deal damage to all creatures in a 5-foot radius of both the point where you were when you used this ability, and the point where you teleported to. However, this damage is lessened from your average Eldritch Blast damage, since you split the energy between the teleport and the burst; Thus the damage is reduced from d6s to d3s.
However, you can forego the damage this ability deals to instead teleport up to 10 feet per dice of your Eldritch Blast, and it can be activated as a swift action.
