Eryphos, The Staff - Elemental
A constellation of Fire and emotion.
Rage, love, lust, fear. Emotions that burn within us, and burst forth, either warming or burning all they touch. This constellation grants the power of Fire, and allows the user to manipulate the emotions of others.
Manifestation[edit]
The ascendant's eyes become solid orbs of fiery orange and red, glowing from within. Their skin takes on a reddish hue, and is almost unbareably warm to the touch; While their hair becomes ash-grey at the root, fading to a blazing, glowing orange near the tips. On their brow rests Erephos, on orange light - Bright points marking the stars while less intense light shows the outline of The Staff itself.

Passive Ability[edit]
While under the effects of The Staff, you gain the Fire subtype, complete with immunity to fire and vulnerability to cold. You constantly create dim illumination in your square. Your natural weapons and weapon attacks deal an additional +1 fire damage, and anyone who attacks you with a natural weapon or non-reach melee weapon takes this damage automatically. Furthermore, you gain the Basic Bends ability of a Bender of Fire, with a Bender level equal to your class level. At 5th level, you gain any one Minor Bend from the Bender of Fire's class list upon assuming this constellation, and at 10th level you also gain any one Major Bend from that list. You use your Charisma modifier for determining the save DCs of these Bends. Finally, the Strain costs of all [Fire] spells you cast while under the effects of The Staff are reduced by 1.
Sidereal Blast[edit]
While The Staff is active, your Sidereal Blast deals fire damage. When used against creatures with the [Cold] subtype or ancestry dating back to the Elemental Plane of Water (Such as a Water Genasi), the dice size of your Sidereal Blast increases to d8s and the critical multiplier increases to x3. Targets hit by your Sidereal Blast must also make a Reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 class level + Charisma modifier) or catch fire, taking Fire damage each round equal to the minimum damage your Sidereal Blast deals. This fire can be put out with a full-round action.
Void Ward[edit]
During The Staff, your Void Ward grants the target resistance to Fire damage equal to five times the AC bonus granted by the ward. Additionally, they gain a Morale bonus to Strength equal to the AC bonus granted by the ward.
Astral Mark[edit]
While under the effects of The Staff, your Astral Mark grants the target a halo of flame, shining light as a torch. This adds +1d6 fire damage to their attacks for the duration, and anyone that attacks the target with a natural weapon or non-reach melee weapon also takes this damage. Finally, the target casts [Fire] spells and abilities at +1 caster level for the duration.
