Image Licensing[edit]

Adding text over an image doesn't make a source image yours. This almost gets into one of those gray areas of art ownership (whereby a modified work becomes something new when significant changes are made to it). That said, I'd feel a lot better about this being on the site if you sourced the image, which you should do anyways when making a derivative work, as to not be a jerk and discount the hard work of another. --Ganteka Future (talk) 22:53, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

I have sourced the image from where I got it from. I made the border edit, greyscale edits, color edits, and text addition. I don't know where that person linked it from, so you can take it down if you feel it nessisary. --Bramithra (talk) 00:05, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
When in doubt, google image search with the image url. It was originally a WoW wallpaper, and I'm pretty sure that downgrading it to grayscale covers the quality reduction. I've updated the source info, and think it's probably fine now (though I'm tempted to defer to Gan on that point). - Tarkisflux Talk 01:07, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
Looks square enough here for me. Plus now people can be all like "hey, that's a sweet dragon and I know where to get the fancy version at." Victory fist pump. --Ganteka Future (talk) 01:18, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
So after all this I decided I was not happy with how it looked and decided to make a new one. If a admin would like to get rid of the history of the old image that would be great. I hope everything is in order this time, I changed the descriptions and linked everything I could find about the images I used.Bramithra (talk) 19:41, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
