1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
The Finesse Greatsword is a fine weapon, it design make the weapon sleek and elegant at the cost of balance which make it harder to use. However it is an extremely rewarding weapon in dexterous hands.
A Finesse Greatsword share a lot with it martial counterpart, and can be used as a regular Greatsword at no penalty.
A user with exotic weapon proficient can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a Finesse Greatsword sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you and even use the weapon one-handed. In the hand of such wielder the Finesse Greatsword is counted as a one-handed weapon whenever advantageous.
Any abilities or feat with the exception of proficiency which work with a greatsword also function with a Finesse Greatsword.
