Flying Deathscythes

Level:	Ki Master 4, Shugenja (Earth) 5, Sorcerer/Wizard 4, Wu Jen (Metal) 4
Components:	V, S, M
Casting time:	1 standard action
Range:	Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Effect:	One animated sickle/level
Duration:	Concentration, up to 1 round/level
Saving Throw:	Reflex half
Spell Resistance:	None

The necromancer rose up, dozens of spinning crescent moon blades circling him. With a simple geasture they went out seeking the blood of others!

You summon up one animated flying blade per caster level around you and send them to attack one or more targets in range. Each blade deals 1d6 magic slashing damage, which may be split up amongst many targets or focused on a single target. Regardless how many blades are upon a target, they recieve a Reflex save to halve the damage. Apply damage reduction only once no matter how many blades are attacking a target.

If you stop concentrating before the duration is up, the blades remain but do not pursue targets, attacking the same squares (and any creatures which have not moved) as the previous round. The blades vanish when the duration expires.

Material Component: A razorblade. If you consume a razorblade made out of a special expensive material or enhancement (such as adamantine or the flaming enhancement), the flying deathscythe blades take on this property as well. Some enhancements may not function, such as those relying on attack rolls or critical hits. Apply the enhancement effect only once, regardless how many blades strike a single creature. The cost for these special razorblades is the same as ammo (1/50th the market price).
