Gadlnaom sees a future perfectly, and will stop at nothing to watch the most glorious apocalypse.

Gadlnaom was born from the minds of dreamers as they considered possible worlds filled with excitement. As a result, Gadlnaom can actively perceive the future from everyone's perspective, as though he had chosen to do nothing, but he cannot remember anything that happened more than 6 seconds ago. Whenever he does something, the future that he perceives changes.

For some reason, Gadlnaom is obsessed with the end of the world. As he watches it, he continually thinks of ways in which it could be even more exciting and majestic. However, he seldom does much, for fear of making changes that prevent or reduce the apocalypse. Most of the time, he sits in his domain, drawing the end of the world as it currently is, so that he can remain aware of how he has changed it.

It is sometimes said that Gadlnaom invented Alignment in order to give a reason for a massive battle at the end of the world, but most people find this idea ridiculous, arguing that the creator of Alignment would naturally choose to make theirself count as Good.

Dogma[edit]

It is far better to accomplish something great after working for a thousand years than to accomplish something ordinary after one year. Gadlnaomites are encouraged to have extraordinary ambitions; those that do not have ambitions of their own must help fulfill the ambitions of others.

While Gadlnaom himself devotes his efforts towards the demise of the universe, and some of his followers worship him in order to further their own goals of world destruction, Gadlnaom would prefer that his followers seek to create. After all, you can't knock down a tower unless it has been built.

Clergy and Temples[edit]

Gadlnaomic temples usually take at least a hundred years to finish construction, and are generally impressive to behold. Priests of Gadlnaom spend their time reciting history, so that Gadlnaom can observe them from the past and know what has happened. Clerics of Gadlnaom that reach about level 15 or higher usually spend their time creating solar systems and other major regions so that there will be more to destroy. The ones that seek to destroy a planet or some similar goal couldn't possibly by as high as level 15, since it's no longer a truly impressive accomplishment by that level.

Pantheon[edit]

Gadlnaom has obvious stylistic similarities to Pretapodr and Cashooie. In a world where all three exist, Cashooie will dislike Gadlnaom for being predictable, adding twists to Gadlnaom's plots frequently, but ultimately look forward to the impressive spectacles that Gadlnaom and his followers create. Pretapodr wants things to last forever and so actively fights against the apocalypse, but is momentarily entertained by the climaxes of Gadlnaom's followers' grand schemes.

In a pantheon where Gadlnaom isn't the only god who wants to destroy the world, Gadlnaom will usually be that other god's enemy. After all, if Gadlnaom thinks that the apocalypse would be more impressive if it was delayed by a million years, that is what he'll try to do.
