A Gakku Spirit look like a human skeleton, but about 9 feet tall. It skull is particularly ferocious looking more like the skull of a vampire than a mere man, with a large jaws with long piercing canine. While a Gakku Spirit look like a human skeleton, at least before it skull and size are accounted for, they are much more dangerous. A Gakku Spirit believe that drinking the blood of the living and devouring their flesh is the key to the restoration of their mortal existence. As a result they restlessly attack and devour mortals who enter it lair for 'nourishment'. Luckily Gakku Spirit rarely leave their den, preferring to dwell in the dark.
A Gakku has a very vivid memory of it life, some like to collect items which remind them of their old lives. However they despise mirror and any reflective surfaces, as it remind them of their current state. A Gakku Spirit noblewoman might collect dresses and jewels, hoarding them and protecting them with her unlife. However they vilify their current and do not wish to be seen, making them a somewhat timid undead. That said if a living being enter it lair, if it sees the Gakku spirit it will certainly draw it ire, and it hunger. A Gakku Spirit will only exit it lair in pursuit of items which are stolen from it, it will pursue the item every night and kill anyone on the way.
A Gakku Spirit is capable of magical flight, teleportation and most fearsome of all, possess an aura which outright slay most creatures upon approaching. It is unknown how a Gakku Spirit is created, some postulate they are amalgams of souls and remember a very vivid 'fake life'.
A Gakku Spirit prefer to ambush it prey and devour them on the spot. If it aura of death bring down an opponent it will typically ignore it until it neutralized it other threats after which it will devour it. Finally a Gakku Spirit, while At Bay from light source and mirrors, will focus it efforts to kill those who bear them. Although it will very rarely pursue them, unless they stole an item from it lair.
Augmented Bite (Ex): A Gakku Spirit bite deal damage as if it was one category larger, and has a x3 critical modifier.
Aura of Death (Su): All creatures who start 10 feet of a Gakku must make a DC 16 Fortitude save or be reduced to -1 hit point and dying. If a creature succeed on the Fortitude save it is immune to any further Aura of Death for 24 hours, even from different Gakku Spirit. This is a necromancy and [death] effect.
Aversion to Sunlight and Mirror (Ex): A Gakku Spirit is At Bay from carrier of any non-magical light source (such as a lamp or a torch) or a non-magical reflective surface. As a standard action,a creature bearing a reflective surface may show the reflection of an adjacent Gakku Spirit, which cause it to flee as if Panicked for 1d4 rounds. A Gakku do not tolerate natural sunlight and become Staggered for as long as it stay within it radius.
Gutsdrinker (Ex): If a Gakku Spirit successfully slay a living creature with it bite, it will consume it as a free action, shredding the body which immediately fall outside of it bone cage. This mutilate the body beyond the reach of raise dead, and the revitalizing experience grant the Gakku Spirit a +8 bonus to Strength and the benefit of haste for 1 rounds per HD of the slain creature.
Relentless Greed (Su): If an item is 24 hours under the possession of a Gakku Spirit it become 'marked' by it. A Gakku Spirit can track any of it marked item as per find the path as a constant effect. A remove curse spell cast on the item remove the Gakku Spirit's mark.
