Loophole

The loophole isn't major, but it does exist and is worth mentioning. This potion allows a creature older than adult to retain skill points even after his Intelligence is reverted. Due to problems with bookkeeping how many levels a character may have gained while within a given age category to determine how many skill points were granted due to age, potential for abuse exists. If a DM suspects possible abuse or concern, he is encouraged to work with his players to reach a solution that appeals to all concerned individuals.

Actually resembling milk, and often bottled in white milk-glass vials, this potation is supposedly a distillation of guidance, nurturing, love and time.

When fed to a young creature, that creature reaches physical and mental adulthood 1 day after consumption, aging their lifespan to suit the start of the creature's adulthood age category. The creature is blessed by the guiding force of deific intervention and is filled with basic capacities for survival, communication and social function general to its race. The potion may also instill a feeling of being cared for and looked after, usually toward a deity matching the creature's alignment or racial portfolio, but not always.

Additionally, if consumed by a creature already matured to adulthood, the potion rolls back his physical age to the beginning of the creature's adulthood age category, loosing all benefits and penalties associated with age categories greater than adult if the creature had them. A creature is not granted a longer life span and his actual age remains unchanged, simply gaining the capacity to remain younger for the duration of its lifespan.

Such is the strength of this potation that it only works on an individual once. Dragons, with their magical blood are immune to the effects of this potion.

Despite the caster level, this potion is difficult to brew, requiring a special ingredient as well as a prolonged brewing time. As a special ingredient, the diamond sand's cost is not factored in as an increase in experience loss for brewing the potion.

Prerequisites: Brew Potion, prayer, 250 gp worth of diamond sand from an outer plane.
Cost to Create: 625 gp, 30 EXP, 7 days.
