Godspark[edit]

Those who have obtained a divine rank 0 possess the spark of divinity. While not much stronger initially, they can begin the process of rising through the ranks to a position of power.

The godspark template is bestowed to any who have undertaken the Task of Ascension, and succeeded. Though they start small, the potential for growth is there. Those that work hard and earn their worshipers, or earn vast amounts of power, can go on to be quasideities, demigods, lesser, intermediate, and greater deities and beyond.

Creating a Godspark[edit]

Godspark is an acquired template that can be applied to any creature with 20 or more HD, which has undergone the Task of Ascension and succeeded.

Size and Type[edit]

The creature becomes an outsider, with the augmented subtype. If the creature is undead, they retain their undead type and gain the augmented outsider subtype. Do not recalculate BAB, saves, or skill points for racial hit dice.

Special Attacks[edit]

Aligned Attacks (Ex): The attacks of a godspark creature are aligned with the creature's alignment. For example, a lawful evil godspark creature bypasses DR/lawful and DR/evil. True neutral creatures may choose one alignment which they can bypass.

Special Qualities[edit]

Divine Rank (Ex): A godspark has a divine rank of 0. While this does not grant him any special powers, it is useful in certain checks and when determining effects while facing other deities.

Extraordinary Health (Ex): A godspark always receives maximum hit points per hit die.

Immortal (Ex): A godspark creature is biologically immortal. They cannot die from natural causes. Godsparks do not age, and they do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe. The only way for a godspark to die is through special circumstances, usually by being slain in magical or physical combat.

Challenge Rating[edit]
