The Greater Magic Initiate is a feat in 5th ed. Dungeons & Dragons.

Greater Magic Initiate
Prerequisite: Magic Initiate
You learn an additional cantrip from the class chosen by Magical Initiate. In addition, choose one spell of a level lower than your proficiency bonus from the same list. You learn that spell and can cast it at its lowest level. Once you cast it, you must finish a long rest before you can cast it again. This feat’s limit on casting the spell applies only to the casting given by the feat. Furthermore, whenever your proficiency bonus increases, you can replace the chosen spell with any other spell from that list whose spell level is less than your proficiency bonus.
