Grounded

You had wings, but for some reason they don't function. Some remains of them still persist, and you have repurposed their use.

Benefit: You may choose two of the following benefits which you have repurposed your broken wings towards:

Crawling Limbs: You use your wings to augment your other movement speeds, crawling, swimming, climbing, and burrowing with their use. Choose a movement mode (besides flight). You gain a bonus to that movement equal to 1/4th of your former fly speed (minimum 5 ft).

Dust Up: By flapping your wings as a standard action, you produce an extraordinary gust of wind in a 30 ft cone for 1 round. The DC is 10 + 1/2 HD + your Con modifier.

Glider: You can't fly, but you can still glide up to half your fly speed for every 10 ft you descend.

Temperature Regulation: You use your wings to heat up, or cool down, as you see fit. Gain a constant extraordinary endure elements and Resist 5 against cold and fire damage from weather effects and the environment.

Wing Shields: You gain a +2 shield bonus, as you use your wings to block with.

Drawback: You lose any fly or glide speed associated with your wings.

Special: Requires wings with a fly speed.

Roleplaying Ideas: Perhaps it is the result of a wound, or you were born a mutant.
