Heartborn[edit]
Heartborn are beings born of two parents with the Dedicated Lover
Heartborn are highly empathic creatures who form strong bonds, from which they gain strength and resolve.
Creating a Heartborn[edit]
Heartborn is an inherited template that may be applied to any living corporeal creature that can be affected by morale effects.
Special Qualities[edit]
Sympathetic Bond (Ex): A Heartborn forms Sympathetic Bonds with any being that it has either been kept watch over by or kept watch over during a nightly watch, shared a meal with, or has ever shared a life-debt with.
If such a being within 30 ft is rendered disabled, unconscious, or dying the Heartborn gains a fanatic attitude towards that being , and must act accordingly or become shaken for 10 rounds or until that being is no longer disabled, unconscious, or dying.
Bane to Betrayal (Ex): If a Heartborn uses the trust of another being to take advantage of, trick, steal, or in any way cause harm to it he/she gains 1 negative level and loses all benefits of this template until they have atoned via atonement or wish spell.
Improved Aid Another (Ex): A Heartborn using aid another to aid a being it has a Sympathetic Bond with grants a +4 bonus rather than +2 that affects all subsequent attacks against or from an opponent.
