Indra's Ceaseless Wrath[edit]
"Sometimes, lightning does strike twice."
This ancient, fantastically engraved amulet is fashioned of orichalcum and inlaid with a large, immaculately cut black tourmaline gemstone, imbued with powerful magic. Indra's Ceaseless Wrath, along with the circlet Indra's Vengeful Crown and the sceptre Indra's Undying Rule, is part of a series of powerful magical items named the Thunder God's Regalia. Like the rest of the regalia, it was crafted by the followers of the ancient deity Indra, who presided over rain and thunderstorms, and was originally used by Indra's high priests in defense of His temple.
When the amulet is worn by a spellcaster, the wearer gains an aura that radiates out in a 10-foot-radius emanation and moves with him. Any creature and object within this aura gains effective spell dampening 10 against spells with the Electricity descriptor, except for those cast by the wearer himself which instead count as empowered within this area (and only within this area).
Furthermore, whenever the wearer of Indra's Ceaseless Wrath casts an evocation spell with the Electricity descriptor, the residual energy from the spell's casting is channeled within the condusive stone of the amulet, and released at the start of the wearer's next turn as a duplicate of that spell with its effective caster level reduced by 5. The wearer may mentally command wherever this duplicate spell strikes as a swift action and need not concentrate on the effect for it to happen.
