Ki Blade
Through endless meditation and practice a Mind Blade user gain the ability to channel her psionic power in more monastic ways than their brethren. The Ki Blade do not wear armor, instead having learned the ability to project a shield of psychic energy over her body. A Ki Blade also learn a more advanced and specialized psychic strike, although it carry risks and can only be used against those unaware of her presence. Some Ki Blade eschew the user of a blade and become soulfists.
Level: 1st, 3rd
Replaces: Armor Proficiencies, Mind Armor (Soulblade), Psychic Strike (Soulknife)
Benefit: A Ki Blade receive the following class feature:
Masterwork Body: A 1st level Ki Blade gain Masterwork Body as a bonus feat.
Psychic Shield (Su): A Ki Blade of 2nd level or above wearing no armor and carrying no more than a light load gain her Wisdom or Charisma bonus as a Deflection bonus to her AC. If a piece of ammunition or thrown weapon miss, she may catch it her psychic power, either making it fall on the ground harmlessly or catching it in her hand.
Psychic Kiai (Su): At 3rd level a psionically focused Ki Blade can focus her psionic energy in her blade as a move action, dealing an 2d8 extra damage on her next attack with her mind blade against a flat-footed opponent. If the attack miss the Ki Blade immediately lose her psionic focus. The extra damage increase by +1d8 at 5th level and each odd level thereafter. This ability otherwise behave as Psychic Strike and count as it for the purpose of prerequisites.
