Kiss of Mephistopheles, Revised

This is an additional feature for the Warlock class.   Characters must meet the following prerequisites before they may select this feature: 5th level warlock, the Fiend patron, eldritch blast cantrip

Kiss of Mephistopheles, Revised

You can channel the fires of Mephistopheles through your eldritch blast. Upon taking this invocation, when you hit a creature with the eldritch blast cantrip you can use your bonus action and expend a warlock spell slot to cause an eruption of flame centered on your target. That creature and all creatures within 20 feet of your target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The DC for this saving throw equals your warlock spell save DC. When you expend a spell slot of 4th level, the fire damage of this invocation increases to 6d6, and when you expend a spell slot of 5th level, the fire damage increases further to 8d6.
