Leeching Oil[edit]

This sinister alchemical concoction is harvested and refined from the guts of black leeches in the Deadmarches of Khar'barath. This viscous red oil adheres well to surfaces and acts as a powerful anticoagulant.

When leeching oil is applied to a weapon, it will inflict 1d4 points of bleed on a successful hit. The effect lasts for 1 minute.

Applying leeching oil to a weapon is a standard action. It is recommended to wear gloves when applying leeching oil, because any bodypart touched by leeching oil within the last minute will be subjected to the effects of the oil whenever it takes enough damage to draw blood.

This is an extraordinary effect, and stacts with other sources of bleed (such as the material blacksteel), but not itself or other resins. After 1 minute of exposure to air, the substance becomes inert.

Craft (Alchemy) DC 25. Market Price 250 gp per dose.
