This javelin is long, white, and has stabilizing fins on the sides, and the word "PATRIOT" is written in small text on the side. The back end has an unusual tip... is... is that an exhaust port?
Created by the Lord of Blades in his campaign against organic life, the meteoric javelin seeks out its opponents and explodes, dealing grievous damage. It is sometimes referred to as a "Patriot", one of several missile weapons produced by the mechanical hordes.
The meteoric javelin is a +1 exploding seeking javelin which counts special enhancements to the bonus of exploding (thus dealing 1d6 piercing + 5d6 exploding fire damage). The fire damage is unusually potent, ignoring fire resistance and treating fire immunity as halving the fire damage instead. The meteoric javelin has unusual range, with a range increment of 600 feet, and teleports back to the hand as a free action, allowing multiple throws in a single round with the same javelin. Lastly, the meteoric javelin counts as a siege weapon for the purposes of interacting with spells and other effects, as well as damaging objects and fortifications.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, dimension door, fireball, true seeing.
