Molten Tornado

A column of lava goes spiraling up into the air, only to spread out and rain destruction from the heavens!

You create a powerful tornado of molten rock which is a 5 ft radius (aka a 10 ft square) and 120 ft high. Those passing through its curtains of molten lava take 1d6 fire damage per level, and on a failed save are shot into the air with the lava to be spun about and thrown for further damage. They are thrown 120 ft in the air, and if they lack a method of flying on their next turn they will be thrown 60 ft in a random direction (roll 1d8 to determine which cardinal direction) and fall 120 ft, taking 12d6 falling damage and falling prone.

For the duration of the spell the molten tornado spews ash and rock everywhere, aiming larger chunks for opponents specifically. All enemy creatures within 60 ft of the molten tornado take 3d6 fire damage a round from raining debris. There is no save for this effect.

By concentrating (a standard action) you can move the molten tornado up to 60 ft. Creatures the molten tornado passes through get a Reflex save for the above effect. The tornado can pass over any land, but cannot pass over bodies of water more than 6 inches deep. It can go up slopes as steep as 60 degrees. The land it passes over briefly melts, leaving shallow molten pools of lava which last for 1 round with all the dangers exposed lava possesses.
