Sentia[edit]

Sentia is d20 RPG fantasy planet used in the Nor Galad universe. The planet is thought to be created by an forgotten goddess—an lesser ancient known as Taerora. Since that time, the world of Sentia has undergone much change- continents shifting, ice ages, and the rise and fall of empires. Currently, there are five major land masses (names are still in process). The fifth land mass is sometimes considered to be two land masses, with a sub continent, as it is very large: about 1/4 of a way around Sentia. In and around these five major land masses are many empires, nations, alliances, and affiliates, who make up the nations of sentia. The current land masses planned are Kalina, a land loosely based on Africa which is south of the UC, Nob Land, which is connected by a land bridge to the UC and is slightly north east of it, the Land of the Giants/Yuan-Ti (a blend of different themes revolving around south america primarily), a japaneese-esque island base, the "Claw" islands/land masses which is south west of the "Water" continent, The Water continent (which was south west of the african continent, but not so much to cross the equator, the "other continent that's not the water continent that I don't remember the name to" which I think was north east of the "Water continent", and the continents that are connected which resemble china/russia/middleeast. The land masses themselves actually vary differently, but because the map is still in process, these are the closest terms I can think of.

The UCMR[edit]

The Unified (or United) Continent of the Monarch Races, the UCMR, or The Unified/Unified Continent of Nor Galad, or as "Nor Galad" by inhabitants of the UC (another name for the UCMR), the Unitfied Contiennt of the Monarch Races is the base starting continent in the Nor Galad Campaign. The UCMR is considered to be the most powerful civilization and force in the world.

The United Continent?[edit]

The UCMR is called as such, because it truly is the United Continent of the Monarch Races. It is the only continent, in which every being classified as part of the Monarch Races live in harmony, under one goverenment. Of course, the classification of "Monarch Races" only includes certain races, and of those races, only certain groups. For instance, if you happen to be a barbarian dwarf clan, you are considered a barbarian, and are now cast as an Uncivilized race. If your a group of elves with elemental power, who don't conform to government ideals, you are now classified as a Mysterious Race- thus is the way of the Government of the UC.

Provinces and Territories[edit]

Although still called Empires or Nations by many, the separate "nations" that today in the UC are neither: no empires are recognized in the UC, despite the fact the UC is, by definition, an Empire, and the only Nation recognized to exist in the UC, is the UC- what exist currently in the UC are called States-In the UC, this word is also interchangeable with the word Province, the name used more regularly with the common people. These States are much like the States and provinces in modern countries- not greco-roman city states, but in fact, great areas of land separated by political boundaries bound by the law of the government, but with Provincial level law that changes in each Province/state. Territories are in simple terms, in the UC, Provinces that act much more independently, that are not part of the main island. The UC hosts a few pirate islands this way.

Dragonborn Republic[edit]

The Dragonborn Republic (also known as Dragonborn Kingdom) is an unique political entity not ruled by the current dominating government-- the United Kingdoms. Although it's Dragonborn (Dray) citizens are considered to be a Monarch race, the Dragon republic itself is not an political underling of the United Continent governmental system. The bustling Dragonborn capital, Ikron, is named after the destroyed volcano on which it stands. Ikron is a bastion of the Dragonborn people, with towering spires, floating moats, and highly trained military-- and also thrives economically and culturally.

Dwarf Province[edit]

The dwarvish province is the center of banking and industrialism in the UC.

Elvenkind Province[edit]

Although elves are traditionally non-involved in most political affairs, the tree filled lands of the Elvenkind has slowly been annexed into United Kingdom territory. Some elves, specifically those High Elves of noble families, feel that the choices of racial separation (between the Monarch and "lesser" races) is a prudent decision. The Elvenkind province is the home to beauty, arts, and excellence- arcane magic, primal energy, and swift swordplay are all mastered in artful form in the Elvenkind province.

Gnome Province[edit]

The gnome's province works hand in hand with the Dwarven Province- many consider them to be the same. The gnome's and dwarves together (and sometimes with the help of the elves) create advanced scientific and magical works that improve the well being of everyone in the UC.

Halfling Province[edit]

The political group, 'The Little Folk' was a group of Halfings who were striving for Halfing rights in the UC. This led to overhauls of land rights, and eventually the Halfing Province was pushed into existence. This movement was considered extreme by some, and was opposed by many "traditional" Halflings. However, many halfings, less inclined to the life of a nomadic wanderer of the plains and rivers, felt it was time to develop a permanent settlement for all Halfings--and not just those lucky to have rights for a Mound village. Most of the Halfling Province is filled with both preexisting Mound villages as well as newly made ones. However, there are a handful of major main cities scattered across the Halfling Province, (generally by rivers) where trade and commerce reign supreme.

Although the Halflings are not known for any specific specialty, the Hobbits of the Halfling Province have crafted their way into the world of Men. Some halfings are shrewd politicians, making use of thier quick tongues and wits- they're also known for their fabulous Filibusters. In a similar skillset, many Halfings are excellent lawyers, as well as being good merchants and marketers of exotic goods.
Many hobbits specialize in Forest care and hunting down dangerous beasts due to their natural stealthiness and general ease in the wild. There is are also many hobbit run canals, river ways, and boat sellers- they're are famous for the Amanapa Canal.

Human Province[edit]

In reality, the Human Province is everywhere- it is the whole expanse, the driving force, and chief controlling power of the UC. However, the actual human province is considered to be the Capital Province, which is the center of the UC. This is where the (Off-White House) resides, where UC's politicians (and politicians of the world) come to meet.

Land and Kingdoms[edit]

Despite the many claims by the Human controlled government of the UC, much of the continent is not Unified. In the south lies the desert wasteland, and to the east of that lies the Orc Kingdom of Haburama. [Many Hill Dwarves and Forest Elves also reside nearby.] To the north lies the barbarian plains, where barbarians and tribal orcs forge a new path for themselves through alliances and trade....

Orc Kingdom of Haburama[edit]

The Orc Kingdom of Haburama resides east of the Wasteland desert. Not too far east though- their western wall rides up against the tides of the Wasteland, inviting attack from the evil forces within, which they must remain constantly vigilant for. The Orcs of Haburama (and the Blue Goblins of Haburama) are generally good aligned, even more so than many of the other races. Although there has been fighting in the past between the races, the Orc Kingdom of Haburama is recognized (if not officially) by many Dwarves, Gnomes, and Elves, in the "GUNZ" project long ago, which has reunited the science and magic creating team, the dee-oh-double-gee-ee's (the DOGGEZ). The Wasteland[edit]

The Wasteland is a huge desert in the southeast region of the UC. The Wasteland s one of the first places the Maw appear in the UC. The Wasteland is home to bandits, sand Drow, giant insects and creatures, the Lizard men, and other creatures. The Wasteland is of a magical nature. Part of the reason why it is so hard to travel through the desert is because it is actually connected to the *Soran in the *Afrina continent in the north of the (Africa) continent. The desert is also home to more evil aligned adventurers looking for lost treasure which other good aligned players might have to watch out for. It also contains a tower of knowledge and a hidden city which was possibly the trade center between many races in the Wasteland very long ago. The Orcs of Haburama live on the very edge of the Wasteland- the west side of their city walls juts out into the Wasteland. Because of this, they are on constant look out for other creatures of the sand who are trying to go on the offensive.
