Overwhelming Energy [Metapsionic]
Burn a fire elemental, freeze a white dragon, melt an ooze, and shake apart the sound the silence!Benefit: To use this feat, you must expend your psionic focus.
Choose an energy type that deals damage (typically acid, cold, fire, or sonic). That energy type now completely ignores energy resistance, and energy immunity only cuts the damage done in half. In addition, it ignores effects which would suppress or negate the energy damage (such as fire damage underwater, cold damage in an anticold fieldSpC, or sonic damage in a silence spell).
Using this feat increases the power point cost of the power by 2. The power’s total cost cannot exceed your manifester level.
Special: You can take this feat multiple times, each time selecting a new energy type.
