Parempo[edit]

This syrup concoction is much like a potion, but is used to increase the duration of other potions when consumed in tandem with it (or simply mixed with it beforehand). Parempo doubles the duration of a potion it is mixed with.

It has no effect on potion effects that have an instantaneous duration, such as a potion of cure light wounds.

Parempo is stored in a special container called a trigger vial. A trigger vial is enchanted by the parempo within to function properly, and otherwise, when filled with other fluids, is likely to just cause a mess. A trigger vial has a small button on the side and a cuff on each end. The trigger vial operates by attaching to another vial, allowing the imbiber to press the button and swig down both the parempo and the contents of the attached vial simultaneously. A trigger vial of parempo can be attached to a standard potion vial as part of the same action used when drinking a potion normally.

Parempo does not affect archpotions or oils.

A single parempo trigger vial contains enough concoction to affect 1 potion.

Market Price: 300 gp.
